作者：小雅和英美友人Balance scale 天平(Balance) weights 砝码To use a balance scale,用天平的时候， make sure the pans are empty要确保盘子是空的， and the slider is all the way to the left,指针在最左边， or at 0.或者在0点。
Place the object to be weighed on one of the pans把要称重的物体放到其中一个盘子上， and a balance weight on the other.把一个砝码放到另一个盘子上。
To be more precise in your measurement,为了让你的测量更精确， try larger or smaller weights不断尝试大一点或者小一点的砝码， to make the scales level.让天平平衡。
When you are as close as possible with those weights,当你用砝码已经非常接近平衡， but still need a little more balance weight,但是还需要一点重量时， use the slider.用指针。
